WhatsApp is currently developing a new feature for WhatsApp Web. Through the latest beta update of WhatsApp for Android, it was found that WhatsApp is also planning to add new text formatting options for messages in a future Android app update.
WhatsApp is developing new formatting options for its Android app, as shown in the screenshot. Additional information about how to use these upcoming text formatting tools will be provided.
- This tool makes it easier to share and read code snippets on WhatsApp, commonly used by software engineers and programmers, but accessible to all users for emphasizing specific message parts. The crase character (`) is required for using this formatting feature.
- The citation block is utilized to reply to a particular section of a message and can be implemented by using the “>” symbol.
- Lists are utilized to structure information in an organized way, starting with an asterisk or hyphen and allowing for numbered lists.
